I read the interview with the author. Author Sitharaam says in his interview about being slipped into the writing path accidentally. But, anyone who reads his book, will never agree. And for a good reason.
About the book:
The story starts with the retired Air Commodore Mathew Williams relaxing in his home in Himachal Pradesh without knowing the danger that awaits for her granddaughter. Right from this moment, the book keeps the audience engaged on to know what is next. I should admit, I started this book thinking I can read in parts. But the “what’s next” factor in the story kept me so much involved that I completed this book in one sitting. Well, it was not with huge page numbers. But still, it did affect other priorities of mine until I completed this.
The author has presented an excellent blend of science and black magic through his imagination. Jai brings in the essence of the witch and black magic in his novel.
The book clearly shows the level of research the author has done in order to give the best to the readers. Be it the love marriage of the young couples or the conversion request from the Christian father or the emotional feeling of a grandfather after seeing the grandchild – even from someone, he did not want to accept as his daughter in law.
The search for the answer starts when Karen, granddaughter of Air Commodore, faints after having a bite from an “apple look like” object. All this happens in a villa where there were several persons died under mysterious circumstances. Except the gardener who worked here, who helps in finding the answer. Is that not enough to keep the horror story alive?
The writing skills of the author helps to visualize the happenings in front of your eyes. Be it the conversation or the investigation. Since I do not want to play a spoilsport here, will refrain from commenting more on the later part of the story. But one thing I would say is, wait for the twist at the end.
Of course, all is well at the end like any fiction novel. But the success of the author is in the way he entertains the reader all along the way in which the investigation reveals itself in an interesting manner till the end.
Yes, my recommendation is definely positive. Get to here to download your book and enjoy!
