“J” in #AtoZChallenge
Our next destination in this challenge is Japan, the land of Rising Sun.
By the way, did the above image remind you of some Arab countries? I am sure it did.
Believe me, this is not about an Arab country visit.
But, today I am not writing about any places in Arab but in Japan.
Wondering what are these Arabian dance doing in Japan? Read on, your questions will be answered.
Japan, a country which taught me how to treat people, how to handle litters and most of all, how to help people.
Yes, the most friendly & helpful people I have ever encountered in my global travel. Be it a young kid, or an old lady does not matter. They put utmost effort to make sure you get your help.
In fact, I have summarized one such experience in my previous post about Japan. So, please make sure you browse through that post to know how much help the people of Japan had been.
Looking at the way police behaves in there with kids or other common people sometimes I wonder will ever the wrongdoers fear of police? Well, the police may have a different face with those gangs – I suppose.
Japan is a vast country, well for a tourist it is always vast.
So, for this post let us stick to the main place – the capital of Japan – Tokyo.
What is that one thing that comes to your mind when I say Japan?
Samurai? Sushi? Saki? Shinkansen?
No, I am sure you all will vote for their Honesty & Punctuality. Right? I don’t think I need to even write any sentences for their Honesty since it known to the whole world.
Japan has the world’s topmost railway network and they are known for just their speed but also the Punctuality. Do you know that the average time delay of the Shinkansen train in a year is less than a minute? I can confidently say that the most punctual rail network in the whole world is this Shinkansen in Japan.
Yes, this is “Yours truly”. Am I the first Indian Ticket collector in Tokyo rail? To know more check out my adventure in Japan.
So, what are we planning to do in Japan today? We are going to visit the fun world in Tokyo.
I am sure many of you would have visited the Disneyland, present in many countries around the globe. Did anyone visit DisneySea? No, I am not kidding.
If I am right, I think only in Japan you will find the DisneySea. So, I thought I will dedicate this post for the DisneySea in Japan.
As with any Disney lands, you will find many attractions in here too. So, I am going to talk about few of them that made me go crazy. For a detailed attraction lists, you can visit the official page of DisneySea.
Journey to the center of the world
You start the journey getting into the elevator. And as the elevator moves inside the earth, you can feel the ambiance change to hot and hotter. I bet, you will not believe if you are told you still outside the earth crust 🙂
Such is the experience. Look at my face, and you know why.
Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull
This is a must-do activity. Which goes without saying, you should hit the place first to beat the queue. You will be in a Jeep [Ofcourse replica!] which takes you through the adventures trip. Make sure you keep your head low to escape the big boulder running over you. Hmm, I was just kidding. But that is what the whole experience is about.
Leagues Under the Sea
This I would say one of the best simulations. Because, even though it says under the sea, you are nowhere under the water. You enter a small room or the vehicle is called Neptune. And all the experience will make you feel you are under the sea, including the splash of water.
Tower of terror
This is a free-fall ride. And that too after going through a sequence of events before entering the elevator that is going to fall freely. Thrilled? Experience it, and make sure you use the Fast pass to beat the queue.
What’s an attraction without a roller coaster ride? I hear you saying.
Yes, you do have the high-speed roller coaster that definitely tosses you upside down.
If you think the DisneySea is for adventure loving adults, you will be disappointed. There are separate sections like Mermaid lagoon and Arabian Coast which will be a sure hit with the kids with you and in you.
How will you feel riding a Gondola in Venice maneuvered by Japanese? I know you cannot get such opportunities when you go to Venice. But in Japan, you can. Just get into the DisneySea and you see!!!
The place I won a Disney Donald Duck. Still, have in my house – such a prize!!
They had many simulations, but the success is none of them seemed like a simulation. it was so real, you feel as if you are participating in the real events.
Mermaid Lagoons: Jumping Jellys
I am sure you will love the other sides of Japan
