La Dolce Vita
Salvatore and Francesca were enjoying their summer in Capri. The first summer after Salvatore took the retirement.
“Sal, do you remember our first meet?”
“Yes, this beach. But when I saw you, you were 40 years younger!”
“My life changed after you came into my life, Sal. You have been so supportive of me. Your presence always makes me happy.”
“Why are you getting emotional, Francesca?”
“No Sal, I want to tell you how important you have been in my life.”
Francesca closed her eyes, cherishing the golden moments in her life which was full of Salvatore.
“I do not know how my life would have been had I not met you, sweet heart. How about you? Without me, do you think you would have been happier?”
Sal knows how much she loves him. But he is of an opinion that she can never love him as much as he loves her.
Salvatore looked at her, “Had I not married you…”
Paused, and “La Dolce Vita would have begun 40 years back for me!”
Francesca took the sunscreen and pressed it fully in the face of Salvatore.
People nearby were wondering why is it the lady and the man laughing so loudly!
