This is my 100th post on my Blog. And this makes my One Year Blog anniversary post even merrier.
Yes. It looks like yesterday that I was writing my first post on this blog – Why did I start writing. And now I am talking to you through my 100th post!
None of this would have been possible without your continued support and encouragement.
Thank you my readers!!!
Why I started the blog
Back in 2004, I started to write my thoughts on Blogspot. And this was mostly in my regional language – Tamil. The success of the 8 part series of a story I wrote confirmed that I was in the right direction and made me continue.
After a few years, and relocation to Bangalore, my work-life balance was taking a hit due to the increased amount of traveling I was making. So, the blog posts took a hit too. And slowly they vanished out from the internet.
Years went by, and a recent visit to America at the end of the year 2017 changed a lot. Yes, I was introduced to Amazon KDP by one of my friends, and the writer in me came out with excitement. The excitement was so much that I came up with 4 books next to next in 2018.
That is when I started wearing my author hat again and started to realize that I need a website. I was looking to interact with my readers from that website. And the result was the blog – Me, in Me.

Why Feb 15? Because that is the date when the great man was born. Hahaha…
Yes, it was my birthday. So I happily announced my website on this day! A personal gift to myself!

After joining this community I started writing for some competitions. Bingo, I did win 3 to 4 times and it became more interesting then.
I started participating in all the campaigns like the A to Z Challenge & Alexa my friend through
All these campaigns are not just about linking your posts to the linky. It’s all about relationships, which comes a long way even after the campaign! So, make sure you respect and follow the rules and give back to community!
And I would say this was the turning point in my blog journey. I got so many friends and followers from those events. With all those

What’s Next For The Blog
I have a lot of ideas on where to take the blog in the second year but I am going to ask you as readers most importantly what would you like to see more of. Because I could not be writing this One Year Blog Anniversary post if you are not here.
Yes, this blog is nothing without you, my readers.
So please feel free to leave your valuable comment for me to know your thoughts.
