To smile or to laugh. Why did I ask such a question?
Isn’t smile and laugh same? Doesn’t it all the show of happiness?
Yes, I hear all these curious questions from you.
Laughing does come when you are happy. Maybe from a joke, or a comedy.
As you may have noticed, laughing is also in our surroundings when someone teases others. Unfortunately, today’s cinemas only show such laughs.
Gags and other videos make us laugh by showing the failures of people, the innocence of olds etc. Have you ever thought that these are wrong? Did we ever have time to even think in this angle?
I should agree that such new age comedies do make me worry. I see people laughing at others when someone falls, when they are hit, or made fun of their looks. Where are we going?
I am worried because the new gen is going to clap their hand and laugh at us when we are old. When we fall, they will not give their hand to lift us up, because their hands will be engaged in clapping at us. Laughing at loud!
I agree we all love comedy. And we all laugh out loud when watching such comedy. Or even when someone cracks such a joke.
Did it ever bring a smile to you? Think.
For me, a smile is something that is not spontaneous like a laugh. We smile when our heart is touched. We smile when we get a feel-good factor. If you get a feel-good factor on hurting others, sorry, you are no more a human.
Now, do you agree why they say only human can smile?
The curve on the faces starts to show up when something nice hits the heart.
Imagine this. Do you laugh at a young kid trying to get up and walk for the first time? Or Does it bring a sense of happiness that lights up your face with a smile? Don’t you see the worlds best dance movement in those child’s new walk?
Or let us take another example. It could even be a simple rose. The rose that has blossomed on your garden after days of you taking care of it. Your heart will be filled with joy, and unaware of your conscious your face will wear a smile.
Have you faced it?
Now close your eyes, start to think something you like. What did you do on your face?
And that’s the smile I was talking about. Come on, take a piece of paper, list it down honestly.
Finally, when you read it, you will thank me – of course with a special smile on your face. !!!
