Wow, what a journey it has been in the last 2 months!!! Our train #XploreBharat took all of us around 70 destinations of #IncredibleIndia.
I know you are all eager to know how did it all started, and how it went on to become a successful Tour around India.
Behind the Scenes
When we started the train, we were 11 different people, in 11 different places with 11 different thoughts. We spoke a different language, had a different culture. But one thing that united us all other than India is – Passion for Blogging.
Yes. Many of us came together on a common blogging event – Alexa, My friend – organized by
While many stones and rocks were washed away by the water, few stayed together with a bond and came out like the pebbles polished by the stream of fresh water. These pebbles formed a group to keep the bond stronger, learn together and grow and help grow others.
It all started with a simple discussion of how do we integrate our blogs more closely with each other. We narrowed down our thoughts to have a blog train and link each of our blogs together.
But then, hey, we learned a lot from the various blogger community in here. And we all thought it’s time to give it back to the community.
Because we strongly believe that sharing is caring and what you share to the community will come back to us with interest. Double Dhamaka!!!
Thus the BlogBoosterIndia was born. We are 11 people. 11 different personalities.
More than 10 hosts in an event? Such a big crowd? Oh, there are bound to be trouble, misunderstanding, and whatnot, right? I can hear you saying it.
Even number 11 does not sound a good number. Two parallel lines, far apart from each. They are not joined! They are not in sync. But then think about it. A train travels safely and securely only on parallel rails. So, why can’t we as parallel lines make it happen?
Yes, we made it happen. And YOU made it happen BIG.
70 destinations, 30+ participants coming up with posts next to next in a chain of events every day. Not easy to organize. Especially when 11 novices join together. We also had a fear that it should not end up like several blinds trying to identify the elephant. Still, we took the plunge.
Little we know that we will be so successful in completing such a Blog Train. Of course, we wanted to succeed, everyone wanted to.
Wow, thanks to all those wonderful participants who helped us to make this happen. Thank a lot, my dear fellows!!!
Any event can be organized by hosts. But no event is a success without its participants. To make it a success or otherwise is entirely in the hands of Participants.
We were lucky, we had a lovely and supportive participants.
Was everything as smooth as butter with all participants? Didn’t we had any misunderstanding?
Of course, we did. But the success lies on how these misunderstandings are overcome and we get back to the teamwork.
Our goal was all about giving some value back to this wonderful community. To help new bloggers out there to get some attention, some promotion for their blog, make them get some backlinks from other fellow bloggers. Hence we took the direction of passing the baton through posts.
When we started, we had no sponsors and in fact, we never thought of it. There is a saying, any good deeds will reap its fruits. To make it true, when the train started its first 2 days of travel, our first sponsor FabZania came on board, and we were not just happy but excited too.
With your continuous support, within a week, we had another one, KAIV, who volunteered to sponsor.
All credit goes to all the good hearts that worked to make this happen.
Today, we officially end the Blog train journey after the 70 destinations all around #IncredibleIndia.
For us, this Blog Train was very satisfying. There were many learning experiences for each of us. We fought, clashed, laughed and remained as ONE. We are also sure that it would have proven more than that for our participants.
Finally, you were not just making just links for your blogs. You all were actually creating links for your friendship. Linking your relation. And believe me, this relation will come a long time with you, so do respect it.
Who knows, the next Train can be coming from you along with your new friends? Bring it on!
What would be a better way than taking a moment to be proud of our Statue of unity to highlight our bonds and unity?
So to celebrate the UNITY of the #XploreBharat Blog Train team, let’s make a virtual visit to this Statue of Unity.
For, here stands the Iron Man of India, as the tallest statue of the World! The man who united this Incredible country – INDIA. And the man who made the exploration within this vast land possible without boundaries!
Once again, Thanks to all the wonderful readers.
